On the morning of March 30th, at the opening ceremony of the 8th National Health Examination Quality Control Conference held at the Qujiang Conference Center in Xi'an, the second batch of research units for the multi center application of seven types of microRNA testing in early liver cancer screening for physical examination population were grandly launched. Nearly 2000 health management experts jointly witnessed this ceremony on site.

The launch ceremony announced the addition of 13 Health Management Centers  of Class A tertiary hospital as the second batch of research units, aiming to gather more wisdom of authoritative experts, promote the implementation of research projects in health management institutions, and make positive contributions to the effective prevention and control of liver cancer in China.

Wu Fei, Director of the Health Management Department of the Council of the China Health Promotion Foundation, introduced the list of the second batch of research units, including the Health Management Center of Shenzhen People's Hospital, the Health Management Center of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, the Health Management Center of Xiangya Third Hospital of Central South University, the Health Management Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the Health Medicine Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Health Management Center of Shanghai Changhai Hospital, the Health Management Center of Zhengzhou University First Affiliated Hospital, the Health Management Center of Nanchang University First Affiliated Hospital, the Health Management Center of Zhongshan University First Affiliated Hospital, the Guangdong Cadre Health Management Center of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, the Health Management Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, the Health Management Center of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, and the Health Management Center of Hainan Provincial People's Hospital. Subsequently, Zeng Qiang, Director of the Health Management Research Institute of the Second Medical Center of the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army and former Chairman of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Guo Qing, Chairman of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and member of the Health Promotion and Education Expert Guidance Committee of the National Health Commission, and Liu Yuping, Director of the Health Management Center of the Affiliated Hospital of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Vice Chairman of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, took the stage to issue appointment letters to the heads of the health management centers of various research units.

The launch of the second batch of research units in this multicenter study will accelerate the promotion of the application and promotion of miRNA7™, the liver cancer test kit in the field of health management, for miRNA7™ to benefit more high-risk groups and patients, providing corresponding development platforms, while accelerating the accumulation of more excellent performance data of miRNA7™ applied in healthy populations will contribute to improving the early diagnosis rate and 5-year survival rate of liver cancer in China, and jointly build a new pattern of national health.

MiRNA7™，as the first Class III liver cancer molecular detection product approved by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China, it won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020 and has been included in multiple authoritative guidelines and consensus such as the Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines for Primary Liver Cancer (2024 Edition).
