On the morning of April 13th, " Love Your Liver " of the Shanghai Health Action, the large-scale liver cancer early screening public welfare activity of Minhang Xinzhuang Kangcheng Community, was grandly launched at the Kangcheng Community Activity Center. The theme of this event is "Multiple Focus, Multiple Health Benefits". The Minhang District Health Commission, in collaboration with Minhang Hospital affiliated with Fudan University and various communities, aims to promote a new model of proactive health management and jointly depict a future blueprint for innovative health management.

Hang Wenquan, Deputy Secretary and Director of the Minhang District Health Commission of Shanghai, delivered the opening speech for the event. He pointed out that Minhang District, as a pilot area for a closely knit urban medical group, has formed two medical groups in its jurisdiction, one in the south and one in the north. The northern part is led by Minhang Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, forming a new "1+2+8" medical service model. It leads the community and other medical units to implement homogeneous management, complementary advantages, win-win cooperation, and coordinated development, committed to providing comprehensive and full cycle health services for the people. The Shanghai Health Action is an important measure to deeply implement the "Healthy China" initiative, and an important path to further improve early screening, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Today, we have the privilege of witnessing the "Love Your Liver" project of the Shanghai Health Action landing in Kangcheng Community. We hope that everyone can work together to build Kangcheng, the largest single open community in Shanghai, into an ecologically livable, happy and healthy community, around the concept of sharing and jointly building national health. Subsequently, Wang Xuefei, Secretary General of the General Surgery Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, delivered a speech. He stated that the Shanghai Health Action aims to promote the sinking of high-quality medical resources, enhance the capacity of primary medical services, and enable more residents to enjoy convenient and high-quality medical services through the construction of a close medical consortium, achieving a transition from "passive medical treatment" to "active health". The selection of Kangcheng Community as the first community for this milestone event marks a solid step in the construction of a close medical consortium in Minhang District. As the largest residential community in Shanghai, Kangcheng Community has over 40,000 residents, and the demand for medical services is growing day by day. He stated that tumors, as a serious threat to human health, have always been an important challenge in the global health sector. The "Love Your Liver" activity of Shanghai Health Action is an important focus of liver cancer prevention and treatment. We will rely on advanced medical technology and professional medical teams, rooted in the concept of "prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and health", promote the "whole person-whole process-holographic" medical model, fully utilize integrated medical health management technology, improve public awareness of liver cancer, timely identify high-risk groups, and achieve early detection and treatment of liver cancer. We advocate that residents become the first responsible person for their own health, master a scientific and healthy lifestyle, and actively participate in physical examinations and early screening for cancer prevention. We will also actively promote the integration of medical treatment and prevention, an innovative work mode of combining prevention and treatment, effectively curb the harm of tumors, and build a solid health defense line for the people.

After the speech session, Ren Ning, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Dean of Minhang Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, introduced the "Love Your Liver" project of the Shanghai Health Action to the on-site guests. The theme of this activity is to promote health knowledge, integrate the concept of "proactive health" into the community, and carry out free testing for people at risk of liver cancer, providing residents with full cycle monitoring and precise intervention. Dean Ren further introduced that implementing the full process management of liver diseases, emphasizing the three-level prevention of liver cancer, especially the implementation of effective preventive measures for the etiology of liver cancer, is an important way to reduce the burden of liver cancer in China. To reduce the burden of liver cancer in China, early diagnosis is crucial for high-risk patients with liver cancer. Led by Academician Fan Jia from Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, the team successfully developed and transformed the miRNA7™ microribonucleic acid testing kit in collaboration with Dunwill Medical. It is the world's first approved molecular detection product for Class III liver cancer, with a detection rate of 86.1% for very early liver cancer, which is 30% higher than the traditional biomarker AFP; The sensitivity and specificity for AFP negative liver cancer were 77.7% and 84.5%, respectively, which were significantly better than the detection of traditional biomarkers. After the launch of the "Love Your Liver" Minhang Xinzhuang Kangcheng Community project, it will rely on miRNA7™, the advanced early screening technology and professional medical team to improve the integrated prevention and treatment system from tumor prevention, high-risk population screening to early diagnosis, standardized treatment, and rehabilitation services, effectively reducing the harm of liver cancer.

In the free consultation session on that day, early detection of liver cancer and prevention of high-risk groups became the focus of community residents.
