On May 15th, the "Artificial Intelligence+Medical Health" Promotion Conference was grandly held at Xuhui Moshu Space. The launch ceremony of the first Shanghai Medical Artificial Intelligence Application Skills Competition "Zhihui Medical, AI Boundless" and the promotion ceremony of the "Data Element X" Competition Shanghai Branch Medical Health and Medical Security Track were also held at the same time on site. This event is guided by the Cyberspace Administration of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. It is jointly organized by the Municipal Health Commission, the Municipal Data Bureau, the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, and the Xuhui District Government. The event gathers representatives from medical institutions, universities, and enterprises to explore the deep integration of "artificial intelligence+" and medical innovation with high-value application scenarios, and to help promote the high-quality development of the healthcare industry. Wen Daxiang, Director of the Municipal Health Commission, Cao Liqiang, Secretary of the Xuhui District Committee, and Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary and District Chief of the District Committee, attended the event.


Unveiling the List and Leading the Way to Solve Clinical Pain Points


At the event, the "Unveiling and Leading" project for the application scenarios of medical artificial intelligence in Xuhui District in 2025 was officially released, focusing on four directions: "artificial intelligence + medical services, community health, public health, and industry governance", aiming to stimulate innovation vitality from all parties and promote the precise implementation of technology. The project led by Professor Wang Lixin from the Department of Vascular Surgery at Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, in collaboration with Dunwill Medical, titled "Application of Multi Modal Tandem Artificial Intelligence Model with Multi dimensional Data such as Physical Signs, Molecular Detection, and Imaging Examination in Emergency Diagnosis of Aortic Dissection", has been successfully selected!

In the emergency field, aortic dissection (AD) is one of the main causes of severe chest pain in patients admitted to the emergency department. Due to the rapid progression and high mortality rate of AD, rapid and accurate diagnosis is crucial for clinical treatment. CTA is currently the gold standard for diagnosing AD, but it cannot meet various emergency needs. In response to the difficult problem of emergency diagnosis of AD, the joint research project of Dunwill Medical and Zhongshan Hospital's vascular surgery department, the "Unveiling and Leading" project, integrates millions of data from the chest pain center, constructs an AI model for emergency diagnosis of aortic dissection, forms a fast, practical and economical ultrasound assisted diagnostic tool, significantly improves the diagnostic efficiency and accuracy of AD, and injects intelligent energy into the rescue of "golden time".

He further pointed out that immunotherapy is the foundation of future cancer treatment, and its difficulty lies in both attacking the tumor cells themselves and breaking through the complex ecosystem around the tumor - the tumor microenvironment. Dunwill Medical focuses on the construction of a digitalized pathology in vitro diagnostic product system, carries out multimodal deep learning modeling and multi omics integration analysis, and successfully establishes AI driven tumor immune microenvironment analysis, which can accurately assess the risk of recurrence. Through AI digital scanning and slicing, it is possible to clearly analyze the distribution, quantity, and spatial characteristics of tumor microenvironment cells, predict the efficacy of immunotherapy, and promote the transition from traditional pathology to intelligent digital pathology.


In addition, Professor Liu Qi's team from Tongji University, a collaborator of Dunwill Medical, successfully established a novel antigen artificial intelligence prediction model. At the same time, Dunwill Medical works closely with the Department of Hepatology at Zhongshan Hospital, using immunohistochemistry sequencing technology to accurately match tumor neoantigens with immune cell vitality, providing strong support for immunotherapy.

Traditional diagnostic methods rely on assumptions, which often suffer from accuracy and prediction bias issues.
